Koblenz - CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM), one of the world's leading e-health providers, has won two renowned digitization experts in the German healthcare system. As of April 1, Max Müller has taken over the management of the business area CLICKDOC & m.Doc, while Jan Wemmel has been responsible for the Connectivity business area already since March 1. Both report to Dr. Ulrich Thomé, Managing Director Ambulatory Information Systems DACH.

Both have an extensive network and excellent knowledge about the special requirements of the market. They know the needs of medical practices, the wishes of patients and the technical requirements as well as the regulatory framework in detail," says Dr. Ulrich Thomé.
Max Müller (38) has been Managing Director at TeleClinic over the past five years, since March 2022 as CEO. At TeleClinic's parent company DocMorris, he also played a key role in the successful introduction of e-prescriptions and, as Chief Product Owner, dealt intensively with all issues relating to the patient journey within the Group. Most recently, in the role of Chief Marketing Officer, he played a key role in the development of CardLink as a further redemption channel for e-prescriptions. Prior to that, he worked for many years in various management positions at digital start-ups. Max Müller holds an MBA in Economics from IE Business School in Madrid and an Honors Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management in Munich.
Jan Wemmel (53) was Global Industry Lead Health & Life Science at CGI before joining CompuGroup Medical. Prior to that, he worked at arvato for many years, most recently as Senior Vice President Health & Life Science. A key success of his work there was the successful development and operation of the central Telematics Infrastructure and TI services such as the VPN access service and KIM. He has extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector and digitization and was a member of the board of the eHealth working group at the industry association Bitkom for many years. Jan Wemmel holds a degree in communications engineering (HSB Hochschule Bremen) and an MBA in Strategy, General Management and Leadership from the British Cranfield School of Management.
