Koblenz – CGM TI-Messenger has received product approval from gematik. With CGM TI-Messenger, all players in the healthcare system can exchange information easily and in real time via the telematics infrastructure (TI). Users can communicate in individual and group chats and send images and documents. Whether it's a pharmacy asking a prescribing doctor's office a question or a quick coordination with the nursing service for wound care – the CGM TI-Messenger facilitates the flow of information across sectors, helps to automate communication, and saves valuable time for everyone involved.
“With the CGM TI-Messenger, we have developed a real value-added application. It has the potential to make everyday life easier for many healthcare professionals. The quick query from the pharmacy to the doctor's office or from the dental lab to the dentist's office: It's the little things that often cause delays that can now be resolved in real time using the CGM TI-Messenger. At CGM, we offer our customers everything from a single source: primary system, TI-Messenger, KIM, cybersecurity and much more,” says Dr. Ulrich Thomé, Managing Director Ambulatory Information Systems DACH. In the medium term, the CGM TI-Messenger will also be integrated into the CGM primary systems so that incoming documents can be stored directly.
The selection of the addressee is done in the now approved CGM TI-Messenger via the nationwide directory service or via the institution's own contact list. Internal communication is also simplified: all employees of participating institutions can be connected to the communication service and exchange information quickly and easily via the service.
The CGM TI-Messenger runs not only on desktop PCs, but also on smartphones and tablets. This enables location-independent communication. A high security standard is guaranteed because communication is encrypted end-to-end after a one-time authentication.
The controlled launch of the CGM TI-Messenger is scheduled to start as of February. This ensures that the technology and processes are optimally prepared for nationwide launch. The CGM TI-Messenger will then be made available throughout Germany.
